The bar owner was friendly and accommodating. It's mainly a bar I think. Beer good. Does what it says on the tin

A lovely little piece of Portugal in France. The owners were very welcoming and the Caldo verde soup was delicious. Would recommend you try this spot out for a bit of lunch.

The bar at the front is rather shabby, but the restaurant at the back is charming. There is always a warm welcome from Maria, the owner. There is no menu, just a choice of meat for the main course. The food is simple but tasty and fantastic value at 20 euros for 6 courses with plenty of wine. If you count the olives and bread when you sit down, it's 7 courses.

Don't be put off by the nondescript bar at the front, the restaurant at the back is charming. There is no menu, just a choice of two or three meats for the main course. The loin of pork was very good. The restaurant is run by Maria, with a little help from her husband and daughter, and is open every lunchtime and evening. This place is a real find. The food is simple but tasty, and totally unbeatable at 20 euros for a five course dinner with plenty of wine and a coffee. You will not leave feeling hungry.
